A Icomon chega ao mercado para executar trabalhos com foco em telecomunicações. A empresa foi uma das pioneiras no Brasil a se especializar e capacitar tecnicamente no segmento de obras de fibra óptica.
Icomon arrives at the market to carry out works focusing on telecommunications. It was one of the first companies in Brazil to specialize and train technically people in the sector of optical fiber works.
Icomon launches the Quality Management program, ensuring excellence in services, and customer and employee satisfaction. In the same year, it carried out works on fiber optic networks, network under turn-key contract and external network. In addition, more than 700 km of fiber optic backbone were installed in Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais.
Along highways and railways across the country, Icomon deploys over 3,000 km of backbone networks in ducts in urban areas, and over 120 km of optical rings in the cities of Belo Horizonte (MG) and Recife (PE).

Icomon expands its telecommunications operations with new contracts, which makes it responsible for a region with over 12 million inhabitants in the state of São Paulo. In addition, Icomon expands its services to more than 3.5 million fixed-line users.
In São Paulo, Icomon expands its operations, launching its services in the center and south regions of the city of São Paulo. In view of this, the company now provides installation and maintenance services on telephone lines for over 3 million subscribers.
Icomon expands mobile phone operations in the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Sergipe, adding the maintenance of more than 5,000 websites, as well as the fulfillment of equipment installation contracts throughout the national territory.
Icomon expands the O&M (Operation and Maintenance) services of fixed and mobile telephone networks in several states in the country.
Icomon intensifies its services in Monitoring and Troubleshooting centers, with 24x7 operation, adding more than 25 thousand mobile network websites throughout Brazil.
Icomon consolidates its presence in the states of Pará and Maranhão, with the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic networks, bringing quality service to thousands of users.
